About Dr. Jacobs

Jayme Jacobs, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Clinical Director at CEH Princeton.

Dr. Jacobs has been a part of the CEH family since 2011, bringing expertise in a wide range of cognitive behavioral and acceptance-based therapies. Dr. Jacobs has a passion for providing individual therapy to those affected by anxiety and related spectrum disorders. She currently provides services in both the Cherry Hill and Princeton CEH offices. She has expertise in treating OCD, trichotillomania, excoriation (skin-picking disorder), tic disorders, specific phobias, and disordered eating. In addition to providing individual therapy services, Dr. Jacobs regularly co-facilitates monthly trichotillomania and weight-loss support groups with other Center staff.

Dr. Jacobs has provided services in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, student counseling centers, and private mental health practices. Dr. Jacobs has trained in several prestigious institutions including The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, and Hahnemann University Hospital. She has presented clinical workshops at national meetings and published original research in the peer-reviewed journals, Advances in Mind-Body Medicine and Journal of Physical Activity and Health.

Dr. Jacobs is a participating member of several professional associations, including the American Psychological Association, TLC Foundation for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, International OCD Foundation, OCD-NJ, and Mercer County Psychological Association. She is licensed to practice psychology in: New Jersey (Lic. no. 35SI00508200), Pennsylvania (PS018031), and New York (Lic. no. 026773).
