About Dr. Dispenziere

Dr. Regina Dispenziere is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Staff Psychologist at CEH, where she first joined as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2021. Dr. Dispenziere specializes in evidenced-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment for body-focused repetitive behaviors, and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). She sees older children, adolescents, and adults for individual therapy with anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, tic disorders, and ARFID. She also conducts psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.

Dr. Dispenziere approaches therapy as a collaborative journey. She aims to be an authentic therapist and strives to understand each of her client’s individual strengths, values, and cultural backgrounds. She helps her clients set achievable therapy goals, build skills and greater self-compassion, and commit to a life that is rich and meaningful.

Dr. Dispenziere received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University in 2016. She then received her master’s and doctoral degrees from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford in clinical psychology. She completed her predoctoral internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. Her predoctoral training emphasized cognitive behavioral treatments of anxiety and mood disorders across various healthcare settings. Dr. Dispenziere is an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.
