About Dr. Silverberg
Dr. Jason Silverberg is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Staff Psychologist at CEH, where he provides services in Cherry Hill and via telehealth. He specializes in providing mindfulness- and acceptance-based behavioral therapies to people of all ages living with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and tic disorders. Dr. Silverberg has a strong interest and clinical background in working with older children, teens, and young adults using evidence-based cognitive-behavioral approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). Infusing therapy with a sense of warmth, curiosity, and playfulness, Dr. Silverberg is committed to the belief that therapy is done with people, not to them.
Dr. Silverberg received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy from Muhlenberg College, and his master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Terry Children’s Center, the State of Delaware’s residential and day treatment center for children ages 13 and under, and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at CEH. Dr. Silverberg obtained his formative clinical training in a variety of diverse settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, residential programs, integrated primary care, and community mental health organizations.
Dr. Silverberg is an active member of various international, national, and local professional associations, including the Association of Contextual Behavior Science, the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (Division 53 of the American Psychological Association), the International OCD Foundation, and the New Jersey Psychological Association. He has presented at conferences on topics ranging from family-based approaches to treating OCD to the intersection of psychology and superhero culture.
