Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Program Overview

The Center for Emotional Health (CEH) is a nationally-recognized outpatient behavioral healthcare organization that delivers excellence in evidence-based assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive and related disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders across the lifespan. CEH brings expertise within reach by providing both on-site services at multiple office locations and via telehealth to 43 states across the U.S. Moreover, CEH is dedicated to increasing access to effective clinical care, providing continuing education programing and consultation to enhance the clinical skills of mental healthcare providers across disciplines.

Location:

Location of fellowship positions are flexible, offering both on-site experiences (in NJ, NY, or PA) as well as remote positions, supporting those seeking licensure in NJ, PA, and NY.

Fellowship Tracks:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Fellowship

Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program CBT Fellows will be offered rich clinical experiences, utilizing evidence-based behaviorally-oriented treatments in CEH’s specialized areas of practice.

  • Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)

  • Approximately 20 hours per week of direct clinical service
  • Weekly supervision, didactic seminars, and case consultation groups

Clinical Child/School Psychology (CCSP) Fellowship

Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program The CCSP Fellowship at CEH emphasizes the psychoeducational assessment of school-aged children and evidence-based interventions for ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and maladaptive family interaction patterns in addition to anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, and tic disorders.

Focus Areas:

  • Comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for school-aged children through adulthood
  • Evidence-based CBT-based interventions addressing ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and maladaptive family dynamics in addition to CEH other areas of clinical practice

 

Core Training Experiences
  • Administering and interpreting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational testing
  • Writing detailed, individualized assessment reports
  • Delivering therapeutic services such as:

Qualifications:

  • PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical, Child, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based practices, particularly CBT and exposure-based treatments.
  • Experience with psychological assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, and adults.
