Dr. Michael T. Wiltsey is a Licensed Psychologist with specialized expertise in both clinical and forensic psychology. A valued member of the Center for Emotional Health since 2010, Dr. Wiltsey brings a strong background in evidence-based treatment and comprehensive psychological assessment.
Dr. Wiltsey provides skillful cognitive-behavioral therapy, with a strong commitment to empirically supported treatments. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of a wide range of psychological conditions, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, trichotillomania, excoriation (skin picking) disorder, hoarding disorder, and severe mental illness.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wiltsey conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of needs. In this capacity, he supervises and conducts forensic psychological evaluations on such matters as parental capacity, psychological liability cases, and other civil forensic issues.
Dr. Wiltsey earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University and his M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His professional experience includes providing psychological services in correctional settings, psychiatric emergency screening programs, state psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient clinics. He has presented workshops at professional conferences, taught at the graduate level, and contributed to the American Journal of Forensic Psychology.
Dr. Wiltsey is an active member of the American Psychological Association, APA Division 41 (American Psychology–Law Society), and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. He is licensed to practice psychology in New Jersey (License #35S100435079), Pennsylvania (License #PS020092).
