CEH takes great pride in providing comprehensive clinical supervision through our postdoctoral fellowship program.
Postdoctoral fellows in clinical psychology are highly trained professionals who have completed their doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in psychology and are engaged in advanced, specialized training under the supervision of CEH’s licensed supervising psychologists. Fellowships afford these individuals to refine their clinical skills, deepen their experience in our specialized areas of expertise, and prepare for independently licensed practice. Thus, those who choose the services of a postdoctoral fellow have the benefit of two experts involved in their care, both the postdoctoral fellow and their supervising psychologist.
Postdoctoral fellows hold doctoral degrees in psychology and have completed several years of clinical externships across mental healthcare settings as well as a rigorous full-year clinical internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.
CEH’s postdoctoral fellows hold a NJ permit to practice psychology under licensed supervision. Although New Jersey’s Board of Psychological Examiners prohibits the explicit advertisement of permit holders and thus, these specific individuals do not have profile pages on our website, it is important to us to inform you of our confidence in the caliber and professionalism of these individuals. In fact, following the completion of their fellowships, many of these individuals are enthusiastically invited to join our staff as licensed psychologists.
