About Dr. Gunn

Dr. Hamish Gunn is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. He enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and specializes in treating OCD, social anxiety, and other anxiety-related disorders. Further, he also specializes in working with transgender and gender expansive youth. In addition to providing individual outpatient therapy, he also runs weekly social anxiety treatment groups for adults and teens.

Dr. Gunn joined the CEH team in September 2020, where he also completed his postdoctoral fellowship. He earned his MA and PhD from the University of Massachusetts Boston clinical psychology program. He has extensive clinical expertise and training in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, OCD, and other disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), as well as Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD. He completed a predoctoral internship at the Friends Hospital inpatient adolescent unit, received training in ERP and CBT at McLean Hospital’s Anxiety Mastery Program and the Boston University Center for Anxiety & Related Disorders. He also received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center/Harvard Medical School DBT Partial Hospital Program.

Dr. Gunn is licensed to practice psychology in New Jersey (#6868), Pennsylvania (#PS019626), Arizona (#PSY-0055649), and the across the US by the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) through PsyPact #17198.
