CEH FamilyCare in the Community
It has become increasingly clear that the emotional health of our school-aged children is a vitally important component of their well-being, health, and safety in school. As community awareness of these issues grows, our schools are increasingly finding themselves on the vanguard of providing for the emotional needs of our children. Many educational systems are finding themselves under-trained under-resourced to meet these new challenges.
CEH can help. CEH FamilyCare clinicians provide direct therapeutic services to individuals and groups in the school setting and serve as consultants to educators and administrators regarding clinical and educational planning issues. We provide educators with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills from which they may more easily identify and respond to emotional and behavioral struggles in the classroom. CEH FamilyCare’s Licensed Psychologists also provide districts with school-based mental health trainings that are individually tailored to the needs of each district or school, and can range from a single session to a multiple-session emotional wellness program.
