Group Programs

Group Therapy

CEH clinicians facilitate a number of ongoing cognitive behavioral therapy groups which utilize the group context to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Some of these groups include:

TOPS (Teen Organization, Planning, and Study Skills) for middle school-aged children
TOPS (Teen Organization, Planning, and Study Skills) for high school-aged children
Social Anxiety Exposure-Based Group for Teens
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy-Based Skills Group

Support Groups

CEH offers monthly support groups that are free and open to the community. These groups are not intended to provide therapy, but rather, they are intended to serve as a venue in which individuals may discuss shared experiences and connect with others. CEH support groups are facilitated by staff clinicians. The following groups meet on a regular basis:

Trichotillomania and other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (Princeton)
Trichotillomania and other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (Cherry Hill)
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (Princeton)
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (Cherry Hill)
Living Well with Type I Diabetes (Cherry Hill)

Group Therapy

Skills-based group programs offer individuals a unique opportunity to learn and develop a therapeutic specific skills-set. Trainers focus on teaching attendees specific strategies and techniques and utilize the group setting to discuss examples, share ideas, and enhance the learning experience through a collective learning environment.

Support Groups

Support groups provide attendees an opportunity to share their experiences and reduce the shame and stigma which may be associated with their struggle. Support group leaders are skilled in facilitating a productive conversation and provide evidence-based education regarding psychological concepts, diagnoses, and treatments.
