About Dr. Durland
Dr. Phoebe Durland is a Licensed Psychologist and serves as the Clinical Director of CEH Jenkintown. Dr. Durland has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presenting problems using evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment (ComB), Comprehensive. Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Parent Management Training (PMT). She also conducts psychological and psychoeducational testing for children and adolescents to assess attention and executive functioning difficulties, learning disabilities, processing weaknesses, and other issues affecting learning and psychological functioning.
Prior to joining the CEH family in 2017, Dr. Durland obtained training in evidence-based treatments for OCD, PTSD, and the full spectrum of anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and separation anxiety disorder. Dr. Durland obtained her formative training at the Rutgers University Youth Anxiety and Depression Clinic, where she obtained extensive experience in state-of-the-art cognitive behavioral therapy for youth anxiety and depressive disorders.
Dr. Durland has been certified by the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (TLC) in the treatment of trichotillomania and other BFRBs, such as Excoriation Disorder (skin-picking) and nail-biting. Dr. Durland has provided services in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, research clinics, hospitals, and private practices. Her research has focused on mechanisms of change in CBT for youth anxiety disorders, and she has presented at national and international psychology conferences
Dr. Durland is a participating member of several professional associations, including the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.
