Training, Consultation & Outreach
CEH understands the importance of mental health awareness, outreach, and advocacy. Our clinicians provide their expertise in delivering professional trainings, workshops, seminars, and grand rounds presentations to treatment providers, educators, and other professionals seeking to build their emotional health knowledge-base. One-on-one or small group consultations serve to further provide assessment, individualized action planning, clinical expertise, clinical supervision, and program development.
Advanced training and expertise
Clinical Training
CEH clinicians share their advanced training and expertise in a variety of settings through professional training programs and workshops. Whether it be expertise in the diagnostic areas specific to CEH and CEH FamilyCare or the dissemination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CEH clinicians are there to provide a range of clinical education services, including, but not limited to:
- School-based mental health trainings for educators
- Professional trainings, workshops, and continuing education presentations
- On-site emotional wellness programs for schools, workplaces, and other settings
- Mindfulness, psychological flexibility, emotion regulation, and emotional wellness workshops
Individual and small group consultation
Clinical Consultation
CEH clinicians provide individual and small group consultation in a variety of contexts to provide effective solutions and guidance to other professionals. Both in our offices and in a variety of on-site locations, CEH clinicians provide clinical consultation and/or clinical supervision to individuals, including, but not limited to:
- Other healthcare professionals
- Educators, child study team personnel, and school administrators
- Postdoctoral fellows in psychology, advanced practicum students/externs
Educational presentations
Advocacy and Community Outreach
CEH clinicians provide educational presentations to outreach organizations in order increase mental health awareness, decrease stigma, and increase access to quality healthcare. Whether the audience consists of individuals and families whose lives have been touched by a particular struggle or other professionals, our clinicians are there to provide expertise, leadership, and support, including, but not limited to:
- Mental health resource exhibitions
- Fundraising events for non-profit advocacy groups
- Local, regional, and national advocacy group conferences
