About Dr. Torricelli
Dr. Audrey Torricelli is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst committed to facilitating a collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered therapeutic environment. Dr. Torricelli serves as the Director of PCIT Services at CEH. She provides services in CEH FamilyCare and via telehealth
Dr. Torricelli has extensive experience in evidence-based cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT) for a range of presenting problems including OCD and related disorders, anxiety disorders, body focused repetitive behaviors, trauma related disorders, and disruptive behavior disorders in early childhood. Dr. Torricelli works with clients of all ages using evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment (ComB), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and Parent Management Training (PMT). Dr. Torricelli also specializes in parenting interventions, and is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist and a certified PCIT Within Agency Trainer at CEH.
Dr. Torricelli earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University and her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University, with a Clinical Child, Adolescent, Family, and Pediatric (CCAFP) concentration. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at CEH. Prior to joining CEH in 2020, Dr. Torricelli obtained formative training experiences in evidence-based treatments at The Child and Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trich, and Anxiety Group (COTTAGe) at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Torricelli also received extensive training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Parent Management Training at the NYU Child Study Center. She has provided services in a variety of settings including outpatient and university-based clinics, primary care settings, schools, inpatient facilities, and private mental health practices.
Dr. Torricelli is a participating member of several professional associations, including the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), and Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). She is a Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey (35SI00674200), a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pennsylvania (PS019587), a Licensed Psychologist in Maine (PS2519), and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Doctoral level (BCBA-D; Certification Number #1-18-30872). She has additionally obtained Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT #12309).
