About Dr. Lovell
Dr. Joshua Lovell is a licensed psychologist and serves as a staff psychologist at CEH. Dr. Lovell received his doctorate (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University after completing a pre-doctoral internship at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. He completed his formative clinical training in diverse community outpatient clinics and medical centers.
Dr. Lovell specializes in Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD, Exposure and Response prevention (ERP) for OCD, and cognitive-behavioral treatments for panic disorder, phobias, generalized anxiety, and depression. He also has expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an evidenced-based treatment that emphasizes self-compassion and mindfulness.
Dr. Lovell is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
